Memorial Bell
Each evening at 8pm, all members of the Ira E. Lady American Legion, Post 262, will pause for a moment of silence to honor all service men and woman who have died in service to their country and all who served.
This bell will sound once to start a moment of silence and once again at the conclusion.
We do this to honor our fallen heroes and as a daily reminder of our duties and obligations as members of the American Legion.
The innaugural ringing of the memorial bell in Post 262 took place on August 6, 2025. Assistant Manager, Bri Griffie, had the distinction of being the first to honor our fallen heroes at Post 262.
